  • Q: How can I participate in the grant?

    A: Your first step is to see if you qualify. The grant will serve elementary, middle  and high school teachers in separate year-long cohorts beginning in the Fall of 2009. If you are a qualifying teacher looking to participate in an upcoming cohort, download the application documents here, and submit them to Bill Rexford, the Grant Director.

    Q: Where can I find the calendar for each of the cohorts?

    A: The schedule of events, speakers and lesson plan due dates can be found on each cohort’s page.

    Cohort 1 (elementary school)

    Q: Where can I find sample lesson plans and unit themes that are aligned to state standards?

    A: Sample lesson plans can be found by time period on the lesson plan resources page.

    Q: Where can I access presentations and documents from grant weekends, guest speakers and historians?

    A: The TAH web site will post all presentation resources and materials on the presentations page of the site.
